Honda hopes to set the agenda at the 2011 Tokyo motor show with no fewer than seven concept cars – including its answer to the BMW i8, the new Small Sports EV Concept. Hyundai has released the first rendering of the next generation i30 set to be officially revealed at the Frankfurt motor show next month. Designed in the Korean automaker's European Design Center in Rüsselsheim, Germany, under the direction of Chief Designer Thomas Buerkle, the new C-segment hatchback is an evolution of Hyundai's ‘fluidic sculpture' design language, initiated on the HED-6 ix-onic concept shown at the 2009 Geneva motor show. "When designing the new i30, we used strong, fluid lines to sculpt a car which looks athletic while exuding a sense of constant motion," said Buerkle.

We first got to see the Ferrari 599XX at the Geneva Motor Show in March, when Ferrari brought one along to the show, but details were a little thin on the ground. In fact, there were more details on the handling pack for the 599 – the 599 HTGE Pack – than there were for the 599XX. But Ferrari has now remedied that, and supplied us with more information and some pictures.
